The paper gives an overview of trematodes that have been isolated from the north Adriatic Sea fish, during a 10-year research program. A total of 63 marine fish species of pelagic and benthic of the classes Chondrichthyes and Osteichthyes were analyzed. We found that 21 fish species hosted digenean trematodes (33.33% prevalence), and 12 fish species are reported as hosts for the first time. During our research, 63 species of fish (total of 2659 fish) were examined and 25.16 % were found invaded by endohelminths, belonging to 22 digeneans species.
