Abstract

       Sardine is the first in its importance to the Mediterra­nean Sea fisheries. However, during the last twenty years, a drastic decline in sardine landings along the Egyptian Mediterranean coast has been observed. Several factors are responsible for this decline. The most important one construction of the High Dam.
