About the Journal

Acta Adriatica is a peer-reviewed scientific publication continuously issued by the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries since 1932. It publishes original scientific contributions from both Croatian and international authors on oceanography and marine fisheries. 

Upon acceptance, contributions are published in online first format and later included in regularly printed issues (two issues published per year). The editorial team is international.

Acta Adriatica is a diamond open access journal. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, redistribute, print, search and link to material, and alter, transform, or build upon the material, or use them for any other lawful purpose as long as they attribute the source in an appropriate manner according to the CC BY-SA license.
