Marine biological studies in Egyptian Mediterranean waters: a review

Abstract

       Studies on the phytoplankton and zooplankton communities conducted prior to and after damming of the Nile River are reviewed. Changes in com­ponents of the communities as well as changes in certain physical, and chemi­cal parameters are noted.
