Abstract

Some results of the investigations of effectless conventional technological cleaning of waste waters in Tunis Lake, and the possibilities of using the organic effluents in mariculture, are shown in this work (Štirn, 1967). The data on experimental study of fertile characteristics of the organic effluents of the towns Tunis and Kopar in primary production of some most important eurivalentic species of the polluted ecosystems, are pointed out too (Štirn, 1970, 1971). The purpose of this work is not some detailed study of results obtained by the mentioned investigations and experiments, but these results are used only for better ilustration and confirmation of some basic facts and conclusions about the possibilities of development of the industrial maricultures, on base of using the organic effluents in the fertilization of primary producers.

Mechanically cleaned organic effluents of the communal or food-industrial waters which do not contain some extra toxis components of the industrial pollution, can be used in the fertilization of different species of primary producers (ultra-nano, and macro plankton which belong to flagelats, dinoflagelats, diatoms and unicellular green algae). Their use appeared to be more successful than any other known artificial festilizer and mixture.
